Background & Experience

With over 20 years of experience in the pharmacy industry, Stuart has advised clients across every Australian jurisdiction on a wide range of matters, including state licensing, PBS approvals (new approvals and relocating existing approvals), sales and acquisitions, ministerial discretion submissions, and business structuring.

Raised in a pharmacy family and having worked in the family business from a young age, Stuart brings a unique blend of legal, commercial, and operational insight to the firm.

Before becoming a lawyer, he built a career as a pharmacy licensing and regulatory consultant, developing deep expertise in navigating complex federal and state frameworks.

Stuart is known for his strategic thinking, direct communication style, and deep-rooted connections across the pharmacy industry.

His clients — ranging from independent owners to large pharmacy groups — value his ability to deliver clear, practical advice and strong outcomes in even the most complex transactions.

Stuart has been involved in matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, the Federal Court, and has been called upon to act as an expert witness.
